What's included
Hospitality modifiers
Cooking point with 6 levels, multi-selection sides with price delta, allergens. Ready out of the box with the "Bar de Carnes" seed — auto-assigns to entrecôte, ribeye, sirloin, picanha…
ESC/POS kitchen printing
Three paths: native WebUSB on Chrome/Edge desktop or macOS Safari (no local print server), IP/network for shared printers, or Bluetooth Classic SPP for portable printers. Compatible with any standard ESC/POS printer (Epson, Star, Bixolon, etc.).
Verifactu-certified
Simplified ticket issuance with AEAT validation QR, chained hash and XAdES signature, implemented and included in the base fee. It activates with your FNMT certificate — and nothing else: there is no census to register the software in. We sign the responsible declaration as the producer and it is published in full.
Bookings + Shop integration
The reservation appears on the POS floor plan and its ticket stays linked to it. Online orders from the Shop widget reach the same kitchen with the same thermal ticket. One unified flow, not three separate apps.
Z-report cash close + reporting
Z-report printable and exportable to PDF, cash/card reconciliation, sales by category, top products, average ticket. Full transaction history with search and filters.
Granular permissions
Who can void lines, apply discounts, close cash or print Z — configurable per employee. Audit log with mandatory reason for voids and discounts.
Comparison
Bouzon POS vs. other Spanish hospitality POS systems
Real cost over 24 months for a 60-cover-per-day restaurant with minimum hardware (~€250 for tablet + thermal printer). Bookings not included in the cost — Bouzon Bookings is a separate module of the web plan (+€9.99/month over a €49.99/month base); other POS systems force you to subscribe to TheFork or CoverManager separately.

Frequently asked
What we get asked the most
How much does Bouzon POS cost?
Two options, both as a subscription independent from the web plan: POS-only at €29.99/month or POS + Stock & Recipes at €49.98/month. It does not require having your website with Bouzon Digital — you can subscribe even if your site is hosted elsewhere or you have no public site at all. No lock-in, no setup fee.
Do I need to buy specific hardware?
No. Bouzon POS works on any tablet, iPad or laptop with a modern browser. The kitchen printer can be any standard ESC/POS printer (Epson TM-T20, Star TSP143, Bixolon, etc.) connected via USB with WebUSB, via IP on the network, or via Bluetooth Classic SPP for portable printers. We do not force you to buy "official" hardware from the vendor at marked-up prices.
Does it comply with Verifactu / the new AEAT invoicing rules?
Bouzon POS is Verifactu-certified: simplified ticket issuance with the AEAT validation QR, a chained hash and an XAdES signature is implemented and included in the base fee, with no separate module or upgrade cost. It activates with your FNMT certificate. One important clarification, because there is a lot of misinformation around this: you do not register the software in any census — that procedure does not exist. The AEAT states it literally: no prior registration of the SIF product is foreseen by anyone. Certifying that the software complies is our responsibility as the producer, via the responsible declaration (art. 13 RD 1007/2023), published in full at www.bouzondigital.com/en/legal/verifactu-responsible-declaration/ and inside the POS itself. The deadlines in force (RDL 15/2025) are January 2027 for companies and July 2027 for sole traders.
How does it compare to Hiopos, Lightspeed, Camarero10 or Glop?
Bouzon POS is pure cloud (no local install), runs on any standard hardware, integrates Bookings + Shop + Stock natively in one account, and costs ~€970 over 24 months (POS-only) versus ~€2,520 for Hiopos or ~€2,936 for Lightspeed Essential — without the dealer hardware markup. Full comparison in the blog post "The 7 Best Restaurant POS Systems in Spain".
Does it support hospitality modifiers like meat doneness or sides?
Yes, with configurable modifier groups: the "Cooking point" group has 6 options (very rare · rare · medium-rare · medium · medium-well · well-done); the "Side" group allows multi-selection with price delta. Modifiers print on the kitchen ticket alongside the product. Assignable per category or per product.
Can I manage multiple locations from a single account?
Yes. Each location is a separate tenant with its own catalogue, cash close, and reports; the superadmin account switches between tenants in one click. Pricing is per tenant — no automatic volume discount, but we discuss it for 3+ locations.
What happens if internet drops at the location?
The POS keeps working for taking orders and sending them to kitchen (network printers on the LAN keep receiving). Cash closes and card payments require connectivity. The standard pattern is to have a phone with mobile data as a backup router (4G hotspot). Data syncs automatically when connectivity recovers.
Can I let my guests order and pay from their phone with a QR?
Yes, with the "Table self-service (QR)" module: a POS add-on at +€14.99/month (POS + QR = €44.98/month). Guests scan the QR at their table, browse the menu, order and —if they want— pay from their phone. The order goes straight to the kitchen with the POS ticket: less running around for your team and faster table turnover. It requires the POS (it uses your tables, tab and till); not sold on its own. Works on any guest phone.
Do you charge a fee per QR payment?
No. Bouzon Digital takes €0 of your sales. If your guests pay by QR, you only pay the payment-processor fee (Stripe, ≈ 1.5% + €0.25 per charge, the same kind your card terminal already charges) — and nothing on top. Don't want even that? Let guests order by QR and take payment at the table by card or cash: €0 processing.

+€14.99/month · POS + QR combo €44.98/month
Guests scan the QR at their table, browse the menu, order and —if they want— pay from their phone. The order goes straight to the kitchen: faster table turnover and less running around for your team. It plugs into your POS (tables, tab and till) and works on any phone.
Fees? Ours are €0: we never take a cut of your sales. If guests pay by QR, you only pay the processor fee (≈ 1.5% + €0.25 per charge, the same your card terminal already charges) — and nothing on top. Don't want it? Let guests order by QR and pay you at the table by card or cash: €0 processing.
It's a POS add-on — it uses your tables, tab and till; not sold on its own. See the table self-service module.
And, on the same POS
- If the internet drops, the POS keeps taking payments — at no extra cost: we publish the full table of what works and what does not offline, and how it syncs back without ever duplicating a sale.
- Digital waiting list — €0, included with the POS: guests see their position on their own phone and get a notification when their table is ready.
- Per-waiter goals and bonuses — +€24.99/month on top of the POS (€54.98/month combo): sale attribution is automatic when the order is opened.
- More Google reviews — €29.99/month standalone or €19.99/month if you already have a web or POS plan: QR on the receipt and AI-drafted review replies.
Don't have a restaurant? The same POS already works for hair & beauty salons and for retail shops.
