Why the Bouzon Digital POS in Valencia

A POS built for Valencia's hospitality scene

Valencia has 10,000+ registered restaurants with unique operational needs: paella houses with multiple rice variants, seafood restaurants in El Cabanyal with daily catch, beach terraces in La Malvarrosa, dense tapeo culture in Ruzafa, Las Fallas drawing 1 million visitors in March, and weekend AVE traffic from Madrid. The Bouzon Digital POS is built for that real-world operation.

Verifactu from day 1

Included with no extra module or paid upgrade. The POS issues the simplified receipt with AEAT validation QR, chained hash and XAdES digital signature from the very first sale — mandatory in Spain from 2027.

Paella variants and rice modifiers

"Paella variants" group (Valencian, seafood, mixed, black squid-ink, vegetable, a banda), "Rice point" (dry/creamy/brothy), side dishes — essential for Valencia arrocerías and seafood bars. They print on the kitchen ticket alongside the product.

Any hardware + Bluetooth for terraces

Works with no limitations on the Android or Windows device you already own; on iOS, with limitations: it cannot print directly. Any standard ESC/POS thermal printer, over the network, USB or Bluetooth. For beach terraces in Cabanyal or Malvarrosa, a portable Bluetooth SPP printer works without stable WiFi.

Reservations + ordering integrated

When a reservation is seated in the Bouzon Digital booking system it appears on the POS floor plan and the waiter opens the ticket from that table themselves and it is linked to the booking (seating a reservation does not open the ticket on its own) — no retyping the name, headcount or notes. Online orders from the Shop widget (local delivery without Glovo) route to the same kitchen queue as POS tickets.

Stock control and paella recipe costing

With POS + Stock (€49.98/month): automatic inventory decrement on each sale, recipe costing (bomba rice × 100 g + cuttlefish × 80 g + saffron × 2 strands + …), low-stock alerts. The real cost of every paella, visible in real time.

Fixed, transparent pricing

€29.99/month — no hidden fees, no setup cost, no mandatory add-ons. Cancel any month, although once Verifactu and modifiers are configured you won't want to.

Full stack

The POS is just one of 8 modules

Bouzon Digital scales from POS only to the full hospitality stack — website + reservations + online shop + POS + stock — all under one account, one invoice, one provider. A Valencia paella house with all 8 modules active replaces TheFork, Glovo, a locally installed POS and a web agency with a single predictable monthly cost, saving ~€15,000–20,000 over 24 months.

Frequently asked questions

Cloud POS for Valencia restaurants — FAQ

How much does a cloud POS cost for a restaurant in Valencia?
The Bouzon Digital POS costs €29.99/month (POS only) or €49.98/month (POS + Stock & Recipes). Over 24 months the total cost including tablet + kitchen printer is ~€950, compared with ~€1,190 for a lightweight sector POS, ~€2,640 for a proprietary-hardware POS (advanced tier), or ~€4,430 for a premium international POS. No long-term contract — cancel any month.
Does the Bouzon Digital POS comply with Verifactu for Valencia restaurants?
Yes. Verifactu is included in the base price — no extra module or paid upgrade. The POS issues the simplified receipt with AEAT validation QR, chained hash, and XAdES digital signature from the first sale. You do not register the software anywhere: no such registry exists. We sign the responsible declaration as the producer and it is published at bouzondigital.com/en/legal/verifactu-responsible-declaration/; your only paperwork is your own FNMT certificate. Mandatory in Spain from January 2027 (companies) and July 2027 (sole traders/autónomos).
How is Bouzon Digital different from QR-ordering POS systems or traditional licensed POS systems?
The Bouzon Digital POS is cloud-based and sold as SaaS — €29.99/month all-in (Verifactu, tables, modifiers, kitchen tickets). QR-ordering POS systems usually come with separate payment modules and require their own tablets, and the traditional licensed POS remains a local install with separate modules. Bouzon Digital comes with the full hospitality stack (website + reservations + shop + POS + stock) in one account out of the box.
What hardware do I need for my beach terrace or paella house in Valencia?
Any Android or Windows device you already own (or a new one for €150–300); on iPhone and iPad (iOS) it works with limitations, because it cannot print directly — another device in the venue prints the order. For the kitchen printer, any standard ESC/POS thermal printer (roughly €80–150). For terraces in Cabanyal, Malvarrosa or Patacona where WiFi may be unstable, a portable Bluetooth Classic SPP printer lets the server take orders on the move. No proprietary hardware required.
Does it support modifiers for paella variants and Valencian rice dishes?
Yes, with fully configurable modifier groups. The "Paella variants" group can include 6 options (authentic Valencian, seafood, mixed, black squid-ink, vegetable, "a banda"). The "Rice point" group (dry, creamy, brothy) uses radio-button selection. Plus side dishes, allergens and price-altering modifiers. Everything prints on the kitchen ticket alongside the item — no information lost in the service chain.
Does the POS include automatic stock control?
The POS-only plan (€29.99/month) does not include stock. The POS + Stock & Recipes plan (€49.98/month) adds automatic inventory decrement on every sale, recipe costing (essential for paella: bomba rice × 100 g + cuttlefish × 80 g + saffron × 2 strands + …), low-stock alerts and waste tracking. The recipe costing module lets you see exactly what each paella costs and optimise your food cost percentage.
What if the internet goes down mid-service?
It keeps taking payments. Offline the POS opens and closes tables, sends orders to the kitchen over the local network or Bluetooth, takes cash, card on an external terminal, Bizum and bank transfer, handles partial payments and closes the till. Every action is queued and syncs by itself when the internet is back, without ever duplicating a sale. What cannot happen offline: the fiscal receipt with the Verifactu QR (a provisional receipt prints and the fiscal one is issued on sync), QR payments via Stripe, and the Z report and historical till closes. The full table of what works and what does not is published at www.bouzondigital.com/en/pos-offline/.
What does support look like for Valencia and Valencian Community restaurants?
Support by WhatsApp and email 24/7, every day of the year. Onboarding includes initial menu setup (including paella variants and rice modifiers), printer configuration (kitchen or Bluetooth terrace), Verifactu setup with your FNMT certificate and team training by video call — at no extra charge. We work 100% remotely for Valencia, Paterna, Torrent, Sagunto and the entire Valencian Community with the same practical, hands-on approach as in-person support.
Can I use the Bouzon Digital POS in my Valencia beach restaurant or paella house without a Bouzon Digital website?
Yes. The Bouzon Digital POS is a fully independent product. It works whether your website is hosted elsewhere or you have no public website at all. From €29.99/month for the POS alone. For a terrace in El Cabanyal or La Malvarrosa, you can also print kitchen tickets via Bluetooth SPP portable printer — no stable WiFi network required. If you later add a Bouzon Digital website, reservations and online ordering integrate natively with the POS.
