Updates and maintenance
What's changed, and how the system is maintained
Signing up with a small SaaS is nerve-wracking when you don't know how often it's maintained or what happens the day you want to leave. This page answers both at once: what's shipped recently, and the update and data-continuity policy behind it.
Page last reviewed: September 18, 2026.
Update cadence
- Continuous deployment. Code ships to production several times a week, often several times a day, with no overnight maintenance window — that's the deployment architecture itself, not a separate promise.
- Nothing for the client to install. Being a cloud service, updates reach the panel and the POS on their own the next time there's a connection.
- Support that already knows about the change. The same team that ships updates answers 24/7 support — there's no separate product department disconnected from the people talking to clients.
Functionality already live
These are pieces of the system that already work today, not a future plan. Each has its own page with the full detail.
| Digital waiting list | Included at no cost with bookings or the POS; guests see their turn from their own phone without giving a phone number. |
| QR table self-service | Guests order and pay from their phone by scanning the table QR, with no per-order commission. |
| Per-waiter incentives | Sales goals and variable bonuses per employee, built into the POS itself. |
| Stock & Recipes with AI import | Upload a photo or PDF of the menu and the system proposes recipes, ingredients and portions; stock decrements automatically on each sale. |
| Reputation management | Alerts for new reviews and assisted replies, at a reduced price if you already have the website or the POS. |
| Verifactu | Simplified ticket with a signed QR chain, compliant with the AEAT regulation coming into force in 2026. |
| POS offline mode | Keeps charging and sending kitchen tickets if the internet drops; the queue syncs itself once the connection returns. |
Maintenance and continuity policy
- Your data is exportable at any time — a button in Settings generates a ZIP with one CSV per table, with no need to wait for anyone to prepare it by hand.
- Automated backups stored off the main server, not only on the same machine that serves the app.
- No minimum term on any plan: if you leave, you leave with your data and no cancellation fee.
- One point of contact for everything — website, POS, bookings, shop and support are run by the same team, so a problem never gets lost between separate vendors.
Frequently asked questions
How often is the software updated?
Often: the team ships changes to production several times a week, frequently several times a day, because the deployment pipeline is automatic (every change that passes its checks ships on its own, with no overnight maintenance window and no manual step from the client). It isn't a marketing promise — it's the architecture the product is built on.
Do I have to install anything when an update ships?
No. This is a cloud service (SaaS): updates reach the admin panel and the POS on their own, the next time the device has a connection. There is no version to download and no end-of-support date to track.
What happens if Bouzon Digital shuts down? Am I stuck?
Your data is yours and can be exported at any time in an open format (a ZIP with one CSV per table) from Settings, with no need to ask permission or wait for anyone to generate it by hand. On top of that, automated periodic backups are stored off the main server, not only on the same machine that serves the app.
Is there a minimum contract term or a penalty for switching providers?
No. No Bouzon Digital plan has a minimum term. If you leave, you leave with your data exported and no cancellation fee.
How do I know this isn't a company that could shut down tomorrow?
The reasonable answer isn't a promise, it's evidence: a high, sustained deployment cadence, support that actually answers rather than an automated inbox, real clients running the system today (see case studies at /en/customers/), and a clear policy on what happens to your data if you ever decide to leave.
