Restaurant & bar POS in Antequera

Certified Verifactu · One fixed fee all year · No ticket or table caps · No contract

Antequera is not run like a beach town: there is no August that decides everything. There is a local customer who eats the lunchtime menu all year round, two big peaks — Holy Week and the August Fair — and, in between, groups coming down from the Dolmens or El Torcal with their meal counted in hours. A cloud point-of-sale that splits the bill per diner and works out what each portion really costs, with Verifactu inside the fee from €29.99/month. We get you started from Benalmádena.

Made for the interior

From the lunchtime-menu table to the excursion group

In the old town and around Plaza San Sebastián two customers sit side by side: the neighbour who comes all year, and the visitor arriving from Málaga, Seville or Granada for the Antequera Dolmens or El Torcal. The first cares that service is quick and the price steady; the second, that they are served in their own language and the afternoon is not lost waiting for the bill. And on procession days or during the August Fair, everything at once. A POS has to handle all three without changing plan.

Certified Verifactu, nothing extra to pay

It is in the fee from the first ticket: AEAT verification QR, every record chained with its hash and an XAdES signature. The certification is the responsible declaration of the software producer, and Bouzon Digital signs it; it is published at bouzondigital.com/en/legal/verifactu-responsible-declaration/. There is no prior registry to complete, and all you need is your FNMT certificate. Mandatory in January 2027 for companies and July 2027 for the self-employed, in Antequera and its district too.

Split bills and, with Table self-service, fast payment for passing visitors

The group coming from the Dolmens or El Torcal has its meal counted in hours. The bill is split per diner and, with the Table self-service add-on (+€14.99/month), the QR menu in Spanish and English saves the waiter presenting it table by table and QR Pay settles the payment from the guest's phone without waiting for the card terminal. Those minutes per table decide whether there is a second sitting before the coach leaves.

A fee that does not look at the calendar

€29.99/month in Holy Week and in October, at the August Fair and in February: no seasonal surcharge and no cap on tickets or tables. No setup fee, no contract and no hidden modules. Over two years, against the ~€1,190 of a lightweight sector POS or the ~€2,640 of a proprietary-hardware one (advanced tier), the difference shows — and support comes from a company in the province.

Costing for Antequera cooking

With Stock & Recipes, the porra, the mollete with ham and tomato or the bienmesabe have their real cost per portion, and every sale deducts inventory. When tomatoes or almonds change price with the season, you update the ingredient and the margin of every dish is recalculated. It is an add-on to the POS or the online shop: you need one of the two to have it.

Orders arrive even if the venue WiFi fails

The waiter's tablet sends the order to the kitchen printer over the local network or Bluetooth SPP, without going through the router, and if the internet drops the POS keeps opening tables and taking payments; it syncs by itself when the network returns. It works the same in a central venue as in one in Mollina, Humilladero or Alameda.

With the kit already behind the bar

It runs without limitations on Android or Windows; on iOS, with limitations, because it does not print directly. No on-site server, no proprietary hardware, and updates arrive by themselves. Setup at your restaurant —Benalmádena is about 70 km away via the A-45— or by video call, in under 2 hours.

Beyond the till

The POS is just one of 8 modules

You can stay with just the till or keep adding pieces: a bilingual website, commission-free bookings, an online shop, stock, QR and reviews, on one login and one invoice. For an Antequera restaurant it is a way to stop having the business split between a booking app that charges commission, a delivery platform, a till installed on the premises and a web agency. Antequera and its district

From the historic centre to Mollina, Humilladero and the rest of the district

Because it runs in the cloud and keeps taking payments if the network fails, the POS works just as well in a venue beside the Real Colegiata, in a bar on Calle Infante Don Fernando or in a restaurant in a town of the district. If you are outside the town itself, we come to your venue too.

Common questions

Questions about the restaurant POS in Antequera

What does a cloud POS cost in total for a bar or restaurant in Antequera?
The fee is €29.99/month for the POS alone and €49.98/month with Stock & Recipes included. On top comes a minimum kit — a tablet and a kitchen printer, about €230 — which brings two years to roughly €950 with the POS and roughly €1,430 with Stock. For context, a lightweight sector POS runs around €1,190 over the same period, a proprietary-hardware POS around €1,640 (entry tier) or €2,640 (advanced tier) and a premium international POS about €4,430. No setup fee and no contract: you can cancel any month.
I run a restaurant in Antequera: what do I have to do myself to comply with Verifactu using this POS?
Very little. The certified Bouzon Digital POS issues the ticket with the AEAT QR from the first sale, chains the records with their hash and signs them with XAdES, all inside the fee with no separate module. The certification is the responsible declaration of the software producer (art. 13 RD 1007/2023), which we sign and which you can read at bouzondigital.com/en/legal/verifactu-responsible-declaration/. There is no registry to sign the software up to; the only thing you need yourself is your FNMT certificate. Deadlines: January 2027 for companies and July 2027 for the self-employed. If your venue lives off Holy Week, start using the system before it: setup takes under 2 hours.
Can the POS cope with a lunchtime of excursion coaches coming from the Dolmens or El Torcal?
Yes, and that is exactly where it saves time. Guests arriving from the Dolmens or El Torcal have their meal counted in hours: the POS splits the bill per diner and, with the Table self-service add-on (+€14.99/month on top of the POS), the QR menu in Spanish and English saves the waiter presenting it and QR Pay closes the payment in under two minutes, with no hunting for the card terminal. The POS is cloud-based and does not cap tickets, tables or transactions, so a coach-load needs no extra licences. And if a guide books from Málaga, bookings on the website plan can ask for a per-person deposit through Stripe.
My Antequera customers are mostly local and the peak is not August. Is a POS designed for the coast any use?
This one is, because it does not depend on the season. In Antequera the big moments are Holy Week and the August Fair, with plenty of local people, and for the rest of the year the lunchtime-menu regular is a constant. The POS charges the same fixed fee every month, counts no tickets and does not fall short on the big days. And with no contract, if you ever want to cancel you do not pay out the rest of the year.
How do I know what I really earn on a portion of porra antequerana or on a mollete?
With the POS + Stock & Recipes plan: every dish has its costing and every sale deducts what is in it from inventory. Indicative figures: a portion of porra antequerana costs ~€1.10 and sells for €5-7; a mollete with ham and tomato, ~€1.40 cost and €5-6 sale price; a portion of bienmesabe, ~€1.80 cost and €4-5 sale price. When tomatoes go from around €0.80/kg in spring to around €1.80/kg in August, or almonds move between €4 and €6/kg depending on the harvest, you change the ingredient cost and the margin of every dish that uses it is recalculated. Stock & Recipes requires the POS or the online shop: it cannot be taken on its own.
I already have a website and bookings with another provider. Can I take only the POS in Antequera?
Yes: the POS is bought separately from €29.99/month and needs no website from us. If you later take the Bouzon Digital website with bookings, they connect by themselves: the reservation shows on the floor plan and the waiter opens the ticket from that table. With the Table self-service add-on, orders from the QR menu land in the same kitchen queue.
And if the internet goes down mid-service, in the centre or in a venue out in the district?
You carry on working. Offline you can open and close tables, send orders to the kitchen over the local network or Bluetooth, take cash, card on an external terminal, Bizum or bank transfer, make partial payments and close the till. Actions are saved in a queue and sync when the network is back, without duplicating sales. Left out are the fiscal receipt with the Verifactu QR (a provisional one prints and the fiscal one is issued on sync), QR payments through Stripe and the Z report. The full table is at www.bouzondigital.com/en/pos-offline/.
Can I serve passing visitors in English with the Bouzon Digital POS?
Yes. People who come to see the Dolmens or El Torcal from Málaga, Seville or Granada often search in English and read the menu in their own language. The bilingual QR menu comes with the Table self-service add-on (+€14.99/month on top of the POS), and the bilingual booking widget comes with the website plan (Shop and Bookings require the website). The waiter keeps working in Spanish and the guest sees it in theirs, with no charge for the second language.
Can someone from Bouzon Digital come and set the POS up at my venue in Antequera or in the district?
Yes. We work from Arroyo de la Miel (Benalmádena), about 70 km from Antequera via the A-45 (around 50 minutes), and the setup and staff training happen at your venue, in Antequera or in any town of the district, or by video call if you prefer. We are a company from the province of Málaga and support is in Spanish and English.
