Your team sells more when they earn more too.

Per-waiter sales goals with a bonus: you set the strategy (desserts, average ticket, a product push) and the waiter gets paid for hitting it. Never the other way round — missing a goal never subtracts, it just stops adding. Add-on of Bouzon POS, no lock-in.

What's included

Automatic attribution, 0 taps

The waiter identifies when opening the order, no PIN. In waiter mode (everyone on their own phone) it is automatic; on a shared POS it is a single tap. The avatar stays visible in the ticket header and is reassignable at checkout.

4 goal types

Product campaign (your own strategy: "this week, desserts"), average ticket per diner, total sales per waiter, or a team goal — for sales without an assigned waiter, such as QR order & pay at the table.

Progress visible to the waiter

When identifying in the POS, each waiter sees their own progress ("68% there — 12 desserts to go") plus a shift-close summary. No surprises at month end.

Always-positive bonus

Missing the goal means a €0 bonus — never a penalty, a deduction, or a note. Built to add motivation, not to enforce compliance.

Opt-in league with alias (GDPR)

The leaderboard is off by default — each waiter sees only their own. If you turn on the team league, it shows aliases, never real names (following the Spanish data-protection authority's criteria for workplace leaderboards).

Report + templates for your accountant

A monthly per-employee report ready for payroll, plus two printable templates: the incentive-pact addendum (Spanish labour law art. 26.3) and the GDPR information notice (art. 13) for the employee.

Everyone wins

The owner gains margin, the waiter gains a bonus.

Illustrative scenario, not a guaranteed outcome — for a €25,000/month location with 6 waiters and a hypothetical 3% sales uplift.

For the owner

  • + Revenue+€750
  • + Gross margin+€490
  • − Team bonus (€40 × 6)−€240
  • − Social security on the bonus−€72
  • − Incentives (add-on)−€25
Estimated net ~+€153/month

For each waiter

An extra bonus on payroll for hitting the goal you set — without depending on tips or on which table happens to sit down.

Estimated bonus +€40/month

Illustrative figures, not a promise of results or verified data of our own — the owner's break-even in this scenario is roughly a 2.3% uplift. We do not publish sales-improvement figures until we have our own measured pilot.

Frequently asked

What we get asked the most

Is it legal to pay my waiters a sales bonus?

Yes. It is a variable salary supplement (Spanish Workers' Statute, art. 26.3), agreed in writing with a stated metric and formula, paid through payroll — it is subject to social security contributions — and never handled off the books or disguised as a tip. Incentives gives you printable templates for the incentive-pact addendum and the GDPR information notice, ready to print and sign; your accountant just needs to review them. We are not a labour-law advisory firm — the templates are a starting point, not a substitute for professional review.

Is the leaderboard between waiters public?

No, it is off by default — each waiter only sees their own goal and their own bonus in the POS. If you turn on the team "league", the ranking shows aliases, never real employee names (this follows the Spanish data-protection authority's criteria for workplace leaderboards).

Is there any kind of penalty if a waiter misses the goal?

Never. Missing the goal means a €0 bonus, nothing more — no penalty, no deduction from base pay, no note on file. The system is designed to add motivation, not to enforce compliance: it is the inverted version of a punitive tool a client once asked us to build.

Do I need Bouzon POS to use Incentives?

Yes. Incentives is a POS add-on — sales are attributed to each waiter when the order opens in the POS itself, so it does not work as a standalone product. If you do not have the POS yet, start with Bouzon POS cloud (from €29.99/month) and add Incentives whenever you're ready.

How is each sale attributed to the right waiter?

When opening the table or order, the waiter identifies with a chip or avatar — no PIN. In waiter mode, each staff member uses their own phone, so attribution is automatic (0 taps); on a shared POS terminal it is a single tap to pick the avatar. The ticket keeps the avatar visible in the header and it is reassignable at checkout, in case a correction is needed.

What goal types can I configure?

Four: product campaigns (your own commercial strategy — "this week: desserts" or "this week: push wine X" — the kind of push you used to have to enforce by hand), average ticket per diner, total sales per waiter over the period, and a team goal — for sales without an assigned waiter, such as QR order & pay at the table.

Want us to set goals for your team?

With the POS already running, adding your team and creating the first campaign takes minutes. You set the strategy and the target; the system handles measuring and calculating.
