01 The challenge
Bar de Carnes had a loyal customer base and exceptional product — premium charcoal-grilled meats in Benalmádena — but lacked any digital presence. Without a website, booking system or search-engine visibility, the venue relied on word-of-mouth and phone calls for new covers. Meanwhile, their generic POS didn't understand hospitality: no meat-doneness modifiers, no side-dish options, no differentiated kitchen tickets. Every order required extra verbal communication between floor and kitchen.
02 Our solution
Bouzon Digital deployed the full stack in under a month: custom bilingual ES/EN website with Astro, optimised for local SEO in Benalmádena; a direct booking engine (Bouzon Bookings, €0 commission per cover) integrated in the same website; and a cloud POS (Bouzon TPV) configured with the grill-specific hospitality modifiers needed: a 'Meat Doneness' group with six cooking levels and a 'Side Dish' group with five options, assigned to all 14 cuts on the menu. Every kitchen ticket arrives with full information — no verbal go-between.
Bar de Carnes is Bouzon Digital's reference project — not because it's the most complex, but because it has it all: top-quality product, a passionate team and a venue with real character in Benalmádena. All it was missing was a digital presence to match.
The problem: invisibility and a POS that didn't understand the grill
The problem wasn't the product. It was invisibility. A grill that had spent years serving exceptional charcoal-grilled meats on the Costa del Sol simply didn't show up when someone searched for "asador Benalmádena" or "grill restaurant Arroyo de la Miel". With no website and no online booking system, every new diner arrived by direct recommendation — or didn't arrive at all.
The second problem was the POS. The previous point of sale was generic — designed for any kind of business, not for a grill. The result: waiters wrote down the doneness of each cut and relayed it verbally to the kitchen. Order after order, the margin for error added up.
The stack deployed by Bouzon Digital
Custom bilingual ES/EN website
We designed the website from scratch with Astro, optimised for local SEO in Benalmádena. A dark, warm palette evoking the embers, close-up dish photography and an interactive digital menu. The site loads in under two seconds and is fully bilingual — key in a tourist area like the Costa del Sol, where a significant share of diners are international visitors.
Bouzon Bookings — direct bookings, €0 per cover
Bouzon Digital's booking engine is embedded in the website itself, with no redirects to external platforms. Diners book a table directly; the venue receives the confirmation, manages its availability in real time and owns each customer's contact data. No commission per cover, and no handing diner data to a third party.
Bouzon TPV — kitchen tickets with no verbal go-between
Bouzon Digital's cloud POS was configured with the grill-specific hospitality modifiers:
- "Meat doneness" group (required, 1 of 6 levels): blue · rare · medium-rare · medium · medium-well · well done.
- "Side dish" group (multiple choice, up to 3 options): fries · roast potatoes · mixed salad · padrón peppers · grilled vegetables.
Both groups were assigned to the 14 meat products on the menu: entrecôte, T-bone, sirloin, picanha, Iberian secreto, Iberian presa and the rest of the cuts. When a waiter rings up an order, the system requires a doneness selection and offers the side options. The ticket that reaches the kitchen already includes all of that information — no verbal communication, no post-its, no room for interpretation.
The POS runs on any device with a browser, with no proprietary hardware or per-terminal licences. And it's ready for Verifactu, the AEAT's verified-invoicing system that will be mandatory for companies from January 2027 and for the self-employed from July 2027.
One single account, from the website to the kitchen
The key difference versus hiring a web agency and a POS separately: everything is integrated in a single Bouzon Digital account. A booking that comes in through the website appears on its table in the POS floor plan, and the ticket the waiter opens there stays linked to that booking. There's no double data entry, no two systems that don't talk to each other, no two different support lines to call when something breaks.
Bar de Carnes is the proof that the model works: a bilingual website, commission-free bookings and a hospitality POS with grill-specific modifiers, all deployed in under a month, with no lock-in and support in Spanish from Benalmádena.
