How Much Does a Restaurant Website Cost in Spain (2026)

If you’ve asked for quotes for a restaurant website lately, you’ll have run into an enormous price range: anywhere from €300 for a freelancer to €4,000–8,000 for an agency. Why such a big difference? What’s the “right” price? Let’s break it down.

Option 1: DIY (Wix, Squarespace, Google Sites)

Cost: €0–30/month

The cheapest option. It works if your restaurant is small, you don’t take online bookings, and your marketing budget is zero.

The problem isn’t the price — it’s the opportunity cost. A Wix site with no SEO, no booking integration and a generic template won’t bring you a single new customer. It only works as a “proof of existence” — a shop window. If someone already knows you and searches for your opening hours, they’ll find you. If someone searches “steakhouse in Málaga” on Google, you won’t show up.

Who it’s for: neighbourhood bars with a fixed clientele who don’t want to scale.

Option 2: Freelancer or low-cost agency

Cost: €500–2,000 (one-off payment) + hosting €10–20/month

The most saturated market and, honestly, the most inconsistent in quality. For €800 you might get a decent WordPress site, or you might get an unoptimised Elementor mock-up that takes 8 seconds to load and has no SEO set up at all.

What usually happens: the freelancer builds the site, gets paid, and disappears. Any change — updating the menu, changing opening hours, adding a photo — costs an extra €50–150, or you’re left figuring out a dashboard nobody properly explained to you.

Who it’s for: businesses on a tight budget who don’t need frequent updates or advanced features.

Option 3: Digital marketing agency

Cost: €2,000–8,000 (design) + €200–500/month (maintenance)

Here you enter a different world. An agency will run interviews with you, put together moodboards, propose a brand identity. The end result is usually attractive. The problem is proportion: for a restaurant with 20 tables, paying €5,000 for a website and then €300/month in maintenance rarely pays for itself.

On top of that, few generalist agencies genuinely understand the hospitality sector: mobile load times during service, the importance of local SEO, how to integrate bookings without paying a commission per cover.

Who it’s for: chains with several venues, boutique hotels, or restaurants with a high average spend that need a strong brand from day one.

Option 4: Hospitality-specialist subscription

Cost: from €49.99/month

The model we use at Bouzon Digital. Instead of charging a huge project fee upfront, the restaurant pays a monthly fee that includes professional design, hosting, maintenance, updates and ongoing local SEO.

What makes it different?

  • No high upfront cost — the investment is spread over time
  • No surprises — there are no “extras” for changing the menu or adding a section
  • Specialisation — everything is built for hospitality: mobile speed, SEO for restaurant searches, commission-free online booking integration, our own ordering system
  • Buy-out option — if at any point you want to own the website outright, 50% of what you’ve paid is deducted from the final price

Who it’s for: restaurants that want a professional, functional website without tying up capital in a one-off investment.

Which price is right for you?

There’s no universally correct price. But there is one key question: how much is a new booking worth to you?

If your average spend per table is €60 and a customer comes back 4 times a year, that customer is worth €240/year. If a well-built website brings you 5 new customers a month, the investment pays for itself quickly.

A website isn’t an expense — it’s the only salesperson working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, without a fixed salary.
