How Google and AI assistants find and cite your restaurant.
- AI Overviews ES: AI Overviews
- Summary box Google shows above organic results. To appear in it: FAQPage schema + visible quick facts + factual, citable content.
- Structured data (Schema.org) ES: Datos estructurados

- Google Business Profile (GBP) ES: Google Business Profile

- hreflang ES: hreflang
- Meta tag that tells Google which language version to show each user. Without hreflang, a bilingual ES/EN site competes against itself and Google often shows the wrong version per country.
- llms.txt ES: llms.txt
- Plain-text file at domain root that gives AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) context about your business and which pages are canonical. Equivalent to robots.txt, but aimed at LLMs.
- NAP (Name, Address, Phone) ES: NAP
- Name, address, and phone written exactly the same way across GBP, your website, social media, and directories. Inconsistencies (e.g. "St" vs "Street") drag down local ranking.
- Local SEO ES: SEO local
- Optimisation for searches like "restaurant {city}" or "steakhouse near me". Three pillars: LocalBusiness schema + Google Business Profile + long-tail neighbourhood or cuisine pages. → Example: local SEO Madrid
Reservations & deposits
The vocabulary of a professional booking system.
- Per-cover commission ES: Comisión por cubierto
- Fee charged by marketplaces like TheFork for each diner seated through their site (€1–€3.50 per person in 2026). At 60 reservations/month that's ~€570/month. The Bouzon Digital booking system: 0%. → TheFork vs Bouzon Digital
- Stripe deposit ES: Depósito Stripe
- Pre-authorised charge taken at the moment of booking (€10–€50 typical). If the guest does not show up, the deposit is captured automatically. Cuts the no-show rate from ~18% down to 3–5%.

- Push notification ES: Push notification
- Instant alert on the manager's phone when a new reservation, order or cancellation lands. Delivered via PWA (no app store needed) — faster than email and not lost in spam.
- Walk-in ES: Walk-in

- Multi-tenant ES: Multi-tenant
- A single software install that serves several restaurants with isolated data (no shared bookings or customers). Lets you scale and lower costs without deploying a separate server per client.
- Multilingual (ES/EN/DE/FR) ES: Multilingüe
- Site with pages duplicated per language (not browser auto-translation). Mandatory in tourist zones: Costa del Sol, Mallorca, Tenerife, Barcelona, Marbella.
- Static site (Astro, Hugo, 11ty) ES: Static site

- Time until the largest element on the page appears (dish photo, hero image). Google target: < 2.5s on mobile. Optimised images + self-hosted fonts are the two typical fixes.
- Lazy loading ES: Lazy loading
- Images and videos that load only when they enter the user's viewport. Cuts LCP on long pages — a menu with 50 dishes should not download 50 photos at once.
